I walk down the street, And hum a little tune. I like every boy I meet. (I've met four since noon.) My heart goes insane When I meet another boy. I don't even need to know his name Before I get so full of joy. Hormones run wild As an adolecent teen. No longer a little child, As small as I may seem. You can tell this with ease If you simply watch my face. I'm not that hard to please. I just want boys, not lace. I give out hugs like candy, To all the boys I like. They find my hugs just dandy, But MY favorites come from the boys on trikes. You see, I am this way Because I am so not lazy, I go boy scouting each day, For I am BOY CRAZY! There's a boy with blue eyes eyes And a sweet, carefree smile. I see him around Every once in awhile. Now, I'm not one for romance Or things mushy or sappy, But there's something about him That makes me quite happy. Oh, sure, he's good-looking, Anyone would say that's true, But it's more than appearance; I think it's something else, too. Like the unexplainable warmth When he glances at me That seeps through to my core, The exciting chemistry... But I must forget all that, It's a foolish aspiration. I could never fall in love, It is merely a temptation. I've nothing against love, but- Forgive my being curt- Why would I fall in love When I'll only get hurt?
