A Doggie Thanksgiving!

Dogs just sit there
And slobber and drool
Cause dogs think Thanksgiving
Is really really cool!

They get the leftovers
Scraped from the plate,
Half glasses of eggnog -
But they drink it straight.

Stuffing and gravy
They woof right on down,
And buttered parts of rolls
That fall to the ground.

Not really for them
Are green beans or wild rice,
But pieces of drumsticks
They consider quite nice!

And after the meal
All creatures the same
Kick back and nap
And sleep through the game...
