well its simple, first of all it works on 7 digit numbers, lets say your number is a.b.c.d.e.f.g , step 2 : 80*(a.b.c) , step 3 : [80*(a.b.c)] + 1 step 4 : 250* { [80*(a.b.c)] + 1 } which is equal to 20000(a.b.c) + 250 or "2a.2b.2c.0.0.0.0"+250 step 5 : by adding the last 4 digit , d.e.f.g ,we will have "2a.2b.2c.d.e.f.g" + 250 step 6 : once again we add the last 4 digit, so the result would be "2a.2b.2c.2d.2e.2f.2g" + 250 step 7: subtract 250, and we will have " 2a.2b.2c.2d.2e.2f.2g" final step: divide by 2, youll get " a.b.c.d.e.f.g" which is your telephone number, no biggie :P
