A Prayer For The Pope

For Pope John Paul II.

The Pope has been a guide to your people...
He has extended to us strength and love;
He has taught us to be faithful;
He has inspired us to appreciate life;
He has shown us to have hope.

We pray that his soul may be at rest,
That he may be safe in Heaven;
And that his legacy not be forgotten
As he lives on in our hearts and prayers.

May your blessings please be with him
And with his successor.
